GO PLAY

Anybody else have a child who is obsessed with one toy and one toy only? Or is it just me? My toddler has recently gone through a monster truck phase. He became very limited in his play, so I tried very hard to expand his play.

Expanding play is a great way to incorporate favourite activities but to be able encourage development in other areas. We used Duplo to build jumps, painted with monster trucks, matched and named their colours, coloured monster trucks, made our own monster trucks and had a dirt and rocks sensory tub set up for the monster trucks. Do you have any more ideas for me?

Does your child have an obsession at the moment that you need some ideas with on how to expand their play??
