Mess in the Kitchen

GO IN THE KITCHEN

Getting the kids in the kitchen is a great way to develop a number of skills essential for developing fine motor skills. It helps with two hand use, hand strength and hand eye coordination. Also pincer strength depending on the activity!

Think: MIXING, GRATING, PEELING, SPRINKLING, SPREADING, CUTTING, JUICING, SQUEEZING, KNEADING, ROLLING

All of course under supervision and when you are in a nice calm mood! Mess will be part of it, so take a deep breath (I know I have too!). What do you like to do with your kids in the kitchen?
