SET FOR SCHOOL #9

{SET FOR SCHOOL} {GO INDEPENDENT} {GO VISUAL}

What do your mornings look like with the kids? Lots of nagging? Maybe some yelling?

Creating visual routines can assist in helping children become more independent, reduce the nagging and help them take initiative. It also helps them recall what is required each morning (or afternoon) and know it is consistent.

Visual schedules can come with many different looks. They can be written lists, like discussed in Key to Kids post today or visual/drawn picture lists like in my photo or beautifully pre-made ones like from Kids Checklist.

I have put together a simple morning routine printable. If you are interested, I have posted this file on TeachersPayTeachers.
