{SET FOR SCHOOL} {GO INDEPENDENT} So we are nearly there! It is time for the talk. No, not that talk, the toilet talk. Chat about where to find the toilets, when to go (before the bell, in the breaks etc), who and how to ask if they are in class, check they also have the how's of independently going to the toilet down pat (pants, skirts, undies etc). Teachers will discuss this first day, but many children have anxiety around toilets and accidents are never fun, so hearing this information from you as well can help it all sink in. Also while you are on the independent skill checking, double check how they go blowing their nose!
