Let's make use of this beautiful weather and get outside. (Well for those that live locally!)
Obstacle courses are great way to get things moving. Why not make a Santa obstacle course to deliver presents or to put a star on the top of Christmas tree?
For older kids, planning, designing and trialing the obstacle course is great for developing their executive functioning skills as well as gross motor skills! Plan it on paper first, use a variety of equipment (pool noodles, hoops, balls, buckets, timber planks, sprinklers, markers, ladders), set it up, give it a try, see what worked and what didn't!
